The Spirit of Africa Festival is a celebration of the vibrant and diverse expressions of conscious living in South Africa today. Featuring a programme of inspiring speakers, workshops and entertainment, along with a bustling marketplace and holistic therapies, the festival is a feast for mind, body and spirit.

We originally secured Observatory Community Centre (on 3 & 4 November 2018) as the venue for the inaugural Spirit of Africa Festival and were in a far stage of planning when we received an objection from a neighbouring resident. He cited the inconvenience of noise, traffic and general congestion as the reason for his objection. In light of this we have been forced to seek an alternative venue and over the past month have researched and visited many sites which we found were not quite right for what we had in mind.

We have tried to keep our original dates as we have already secured an amazing line up of speakers and workshops, as well as vendors, but this has proved to be impossible without compromising our original concept. We have therefore decided to postpone the festival to early 2019. We are currently in negotiation with some wonderful venues with early March as the new provisional date. We apologise for any inconvenience that this postponement causes.
Tickets will go on sale as soon as we confirm our new venue and dates.
